Indian-American scientist awarded grant for cancer research  Indian scientist

Washington: An Indian American scientist has a rare chance. Scientist Naveen Varadarajan has announced a $ 11-million grant for cancer research. Indian origin scientist Varadarajan, along with another researcher, Samuiuk Chung, at the University of Houston, has undergone significant research into lethal cancer. The grant was granted by the Cancer Prevention and Resident Institute of Texas (CPRIT) in the US for recognition of these studies   Indian scientist

The institution is funded by the US for funding the causes and prevention treatments of cancer. The statement stated that Varadarajan, a biomolecular engineering assistant professor at Houston University, has been funded to conduct extensive research into T-cell immunotherapy.
